I remember the tactics Pentecostals used. Anyone who leaves will not prosper and will not find happiness. I'm sorry Mr. Pentecostal, but my story is just the opposite of what you preach. Actually, let me rephrase that, I'm NOT sorry BECAUSE my story is the opposite of what you preach. I am actually doing better in all accounts than my in-laws who are still going to that church (and they tried to tell me how bad things would get if we left).Since I left their church, my marriage has gotten stronger, I am happier, I am no longer struggling financially, my health has improved, I could go on. The fears they tried to implant into my mind never came true. They tell the lies to keep you fearful. If you are afraid of leaving, then they can continue to control you. They keep their people in fear of what may be behind the door.
